Agebuzz Asks: This Week’s Reader Poll: In response to the September 18th reader poll regarding the use of cannabis or medical marijuana, the overwhelming majority of responses (78%) said they do not currently use cannabis or medical marijuana. Many said they had never used either substance, while some commented that, as a younger person, they did, but they no longer do so. Some of you expressed interest in learning more and were curious if it might help you with aches and pains. However, among the small percentage of respondents who did report using cannabis or medical marijuana, they described mostly positive experiences. Many detailed a calming effect or noted its value in pain relief, even negating the need for any other pain medication. While a few described the psychedelic effects they experienced, for the most part, those who currently use these substances seem happy with their choice! As the saying goes, “Whatever floats your boat!"
