Agebuzz Asks: This Week’s Reader Poll: In response to the October 9th reader poll regarding the rising cost of daily products you use, the overwhelming majority of responses focused on such basic items as coffee and groceries at the supermarket. However, among the comments, most admitted that almost everything was more expensive these days, and many of you have cut back on such activities as eating out or buying new clothing, or even dabbling in occasional entertainment. As for specific items you’ve given up due to rising prices, the item garnering the most mentions was meat. While that may be good if you want to pursue a healthier diet, we suspect that foregoing an occasional steak or roast has not been motivated by health but rather by cost.
