We want to save big and purchase quality home goods from a trusted source. You may be wondering, “Is Wayfair legit?” and “Is Wayfair furniture good quality?” We can confidently answer yes to those questions, and when you read Wayfair reviews, you’ll find that thousands of customers agree with us.

But there are even more reasons to love Wayfair.

Agebuzz Asks: This Week’s Reader Poll: In response to the Sept. 26th reader poll regarding solo aging, about ⅓ of the poll’s respondents report living with their spouse in the community, often with grown children and grandchildren within a reasonable distance. The next largest percentage of respondents reported being single, but having an adult child available for help, sometimes living in the same house or community, or sometimes with adult children at a distance but available for occasional help and support. Many of you also reflected on the strong community of friendships that keep you afloat and engaged. Perhaps the most distressing responses to read were from those of you now single (widowed or divorced) and the challenges faced with being on your own at this stage of life. Many mentioned loneliness, health problems, financial stress, or housing upkeep as factors that make it tough to be a solo ager. Many also described how difficult it is to ask others for help. These must have been unpleasant admissions for some of you to give voice to, so we are grateful for your responses and the time you took to share your thoughts.

The Last Word

“Earlier in my life, I thought the things that mattered were the things that you could see, like your car, your house, your wealth, your property, your office. But as I’ve grown older I’ve become convinced that the things that matter most are the things that you can’t see—the love you share with others, your inner purpose, your comfort with who you are.”

President Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States, who celebrated his 100th birthday on October 1st
