Agebuzz Asks: This Week’s Reader Poll: In response to the December 5th reader poll regarding New Year’s Eve plans, about 35% of respondents said they had no special plans for New Year’s Eve and another 25% said they planned to be home and would be watching the ball drop on television. The remaining respondents had a smattering of plans, staying local and low-key. What’s perhaps most interesting is that so many of you made clear that between crowds, safety, and personal preferences (including not wanting to stay up until midnight!), celebrating New Year’s Eve was no longer a priority, at least in terms of leaving the house. Furthermore, virtually no one shared a resolution they were making (perhaps due to the reality that few of us are good at keeping or fulfilling resolutions!) With all going on in the world, it seems like for most of us, on New Year’s Eve, there’s no place like home!
