This Week’s Reader Poll Results: Thank you to everyone who responded to our August 6th poll about whether you have ever considered or been prescribed a GLP-1. More than 50% of our respondents made clear that a GLP-1 has never been prescribed for them or considered by them. A small number of you have thought about asking your doctor, but have been concerned about the costs or side effects from using the drug. Some of you are using it for diabetes or weight loss, and others have used it in the past but have now stopped. Many of you described difficult side effects (“intolerable”) from taking the drug, including nausea, diarrhea, cramps, and even hair loss. Others describe important benefits they’ve achieved, given their overall health, including improved A1C levels and significant weight loss, which has benefited their health in many ways. Just this week, a new study was published in BMJ that reported the positive benefits for heart health that may follow use of a GLP-1. While we do not yet have long-term data on the use of GLP-1s and healthier aging, there does seem to be mounting evidence that these drugs may play an important role going forward in maintaining and improving the health of adults in their later years. Your skin changed. Your skincare should too.

In your 40s and 50s, your skin loses estrogen: and with it, collagen, elasticity, and hydration. Other skincare doesn't treat the root cause. Alloy's M4 line does. It's powered by prescription-strength estriol, a safe, topical form of estrogen that's clinically proven to rebuild what menopause takes away.

It delivers real results in hydration, elasticity, and overall skin health in just 12 weeks. Doctor-prescribed, HSA/FSA eligible, and delivered to your door.

“I never will believe that our youngest days are our happiest. What a miserable augury for the progress of the race and the destination of the individual, if the more matured and enlightened state is the less happy one!”
