Agebuzz Asks: This Week’s Reader Poll: In response to the August 8th reader poll regarding your ideal vacations, agebuzz respondents are clearly a well-traveled bunch! The highest number of responses were divided between a desire to go to a beach and a desire to just go anywhere for a few days. As we head into the later weeks of August, it’s clear that many are feeling the need for a quick summer getaway, perhaps to enjoy the last gasps of summer before what promises to be a tumultuous fall. As for your best vacation responses? Answers revealed travel far and wide, including such exotic foreign lands as China, Russia, and Colombia, to domestic travel from coast to coast, including beach backpacking in Maryland and camping in the Pacific Northwest. Despite the diversity of responses, one thing is clear: a vacation with family or friends (or even alone) can lead to memories that last forever. So do what you can to clear your schedule for a couple of days before we close the book on the summer of 2024.
